Welcome to the first Celiac Camp in California!
At Camp Arroyo for its second year (August 3-8, 2008), Camp Celiac will
again have numerous fun activities including: Rock Wall Climb, Challenge Course, Boating, Swimming, Sports, Arts & Crafts,
and Nature! All in a safe and Gluten-Free environment!
The Taylor Family Foundation (
www.ttff.org) in partnership with the East
Bay Regional Park District, generously sponsors Camp Arroyo, a 138 acre camp, to enrich the lives of children (ages 8-17 years) with
medical issues. The camp is staffed by YMCA counselors, as well as by adult volunteer counselors (you can volunteer!)
Finally,
while the Camp is sponsored, we do have additional expenses and would like to provide our campers with additional programming, crafts,
etc. If you are able, please consider making a donation to Camp Celiac, (you can send donations with your
registration); the check should be made out to the Celiac Sprue Research Foundation with a notation that it is for Camp Celiac.
And please support our wonderful sponsors and vendors.
A Gluten-Free Camp in the San Francisco Bay Area
